Programs, Promotions, and Internships:

Kings Crossing Publishing believes that an educated author will make the best decisions for him/herself as well as for the company. KCP conducts workshops, participates in panel discussions and readily share information about publishing to other writers and publishers.

Believing it is important to put your money where your mouth is, Kings Crossing Publishing began a summer internship for candidates with a demonstrated interest and leadership in the fields of business or writing. The first intern, Abigail Sewell, a sophomore at University of Florida, and a Lady Fest South Slam Champion completed her internship in August 2002. Kings Crossing published 50 copies of a chapbook she completed as part of her internship while working that summer as a part of her internship.

A lot of our aspiring writers look only as far as they can aspire because they never envision the big boys picking them up. KCP wants them to know they can reach beyond that glass ceiling. With Kings Crossing's help, they will know that they can.
